MBBS in China
We handle admissions to MBBS programmes at Chinese universities. Medicine is a long and costly commitment, so read the official requirements first, and the Pakistan licensing rules too.

What MBBS in China costs (ranges)
Amounts below are taken from the official admission pages of four Chinese universities, in yuan. Your university decides its own fees, so use this as a planning range and get the exact figures in writing before you pay.

These details come from Tongji University's recruitment plan for its six-year English-taught MBBS (2024 intake). Other universities differ and dates change every year, so treat this as an example of the kind of requirements to expect.

Pakistan: what happens when you come home
Pakistani nationals with an MBBS or BDS from a foreign college must pass the National Registration Examination (NRE) held by PM&DC before full registration as a General Practitioner in Pakistan. The exam has two parts, NRE I and NRE II, and PM&DC states that candidates must pass both separately with a minimum of 60 percent. The exam is held under Section 18 of the PM&DC Act 2022.

- Is the programme recognised for registration in Pakistan, and what does PM&DC say?
- In which language are the clinical years and internship taught?
- What is the full cost: tuition, accommodation, insurance, fees, and what is refundable?
- What are the pass rates and what happens if you fail a year?
